Successful, effective law firms don’t just happen by accident. As Employer Solutions Law’s Chief Futurist, Rachel Padgett is focused on ensuring that the firm’s infrastructure is geared toward providing top-notch client service and creating an environment in which every member of the team, including attorneys and all support staff, have the training and tools they need to be successful.
Rachel’s role involves anything related to the non-legal work of running a law firm, including planning for immediate needs and especially for the firm’s long-term goals. She is mindful that the firm's decisions and choices today will profoundly affect its future success. Firm clients may encounter Rachel through client satisfaction calls or at industry events that she attends with her husband Brian, the firm’s owner and managing attorney.
Though Rachel Padgett wears many hats at Employer Solutions Law, she most enjoys building up the firm’s team of dedicated employees, empowering them to grow and succeed in their work. She is committed to building a law practice where individuals work to their strengths and receive the support they need through challenges. She regularly works individually with each member of the firm’s staff, meeting them where they are and re-evaluating their needs to help them reach their goals.
Rachel joined the firm in 2022, but she has spent years developing the skills to identify and resolve organizational problems and prevent future issues. She has a B.S. in Business and Finance, a B.A. in Anthropology, and an MA in Social Work—a combination that uniquely equips her to deal with challenging interpersonal and organizational issues.
Before joining Employer Solutions Law, Rachel Padgett had a successful career as a political and non-profit consultant, spanning over 20 years and working with clients in a dozen states. Her deep knowledge and experience in strategic planning, data management, relationship management, systems and operations, marketing, fundraising, and budgeting set her apart. Rachel focused on quickly assessing political campaigns and organizations' short- and long-term needs, developing effective plans, and coaching staff through execution. She relies on data, not opinions, and her clear-eyed, level-headed vision brings a reassuring approach to planning for the firm.
Outside of the office, Rachel enjoys gardening, swimming in the Cedar River, and being active outdoors with her 130 pound Lab, Ziggy Stardust.
